She has lectured nationally, has published 10 papers, and has served as Seattle-King County Dental Society President & Seattle-King County Foundation President. Dr. Townsend participated in both the 1989 and 1995 World Workshops in Periodontics. She has received a number of awards including being selected multiple times as one of Seattle's Top Dentists by Seattle Magazine. Dr. Vikram Likhari graduated from Tufts University in Boston with a Master of Science Degree and a Certificate in Periodontics. He was selected as Chief Resident of the program in his final year at Tufts and also held a Visiting Scientist Position at the acclaimed Forsyth Institute. At Forsyth, he conducted his master's research on the Salivary Cytokines which has now been accepted for publication. Dr. Likhari is especially interested in Periodontal Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Implant Surgery. Dr. Vikram Likhari Dr. Likhari is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, and is Affiliate Clinical Faculty at the University of Washington Department of Periodontics. Dr. Cheryl Townsend Dr. Townsend is both a Fellow, & a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, plus she is an Affiliate Professor for Graduate Periodontics at the University of Washington Department of Periodontics.
